Getting to know each other

We know meeting someone for the first time can be intimidating, and going to a new church for the first time can be nerve-racking. We want to help make your first experience at Valley View a great one!

SERVICE TIMES

Valley View meets every weekend on Sundays at 333 Davis Drive in Newmarket.

  • Pre-Service Prayer: Sundays at 9:50 am Lower Level across from the Youth Room

  • Worship Service: Sundays at 11:00 am in the sanctuary

Pre-Service Prayer

We as a church are learning how to not just be a church that prays but a church of prayer. The difference is becoming exponentially greater in how we live out our day to day lives for Christ and how we are able to serve the community around us. We are desiring to seek God in our quiet space daily and learning to hear his voice clearly as he speaks to us. Join us on this journey every Sunday morning as we gather and seek God in prayer together. All are welcome to come, sit, soak and participate.

What's the culture like at Valley View?

Sunday's at Valley View are exciting, casual, and relaxed. Come as you are and expect to feel welcomed as our guest.

What can I expect?

When you show up

We want to make everyone in our community feel welcome here at Valley View. Our facility is almost completely wheelchair accessible. There is wheelchair ramp on the east side of the building that goes to the lower level entrance and there is an elevator to go up to the sanctuary level.

The main entrance is not on Davis Drive but at the back (the north side of the building) where the main parking can be found.

How long is a Valley View service?

In total, a Valley View service is about 90 minutes in length. We start off our service with a couple announcements to fill you in on the VVAC community, then we move into a time of worship and praise led by one of our contemporary worship bands. We sing three or four songs together as a church before we transition to the teaching portion of the service. A member of our teaching team will come out to share from Scripture what God is leading us to as a church family. Our service ends with one or two songs followed by benediction from one of our pastors.

What about my kids?

We believe that kids should have a blast at church every single week - and at Valley View, we make this a priority. The other thing we make a priority is your children’s safety so we have a detailed check-in process at Valley View. The first time that you visit you’ll want to leave yourself an extra ten minutes to get signed in for the Valley View “Kids Quest” experience. Right now, Children’s ministry is offered at every Valley View service for babies and toddlers and kids ages 4 through 10.
